Metroflor – Macadamia – 200 Island Collection – Vinyl Plank Flooring

Macadamia is a warm nut-brown sitting squarely in the middle of the range, neither pale nor dark, with moderate grain and moderate variation.

Where. The default room. Kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, hallways — a mid warm brown is the least likely colour to fight anything already in the house.

Who. Owners doing a whole floor plan in one colour, and landlords who want a finish that suits any tenant's furniture.

Putting it in. This floats. Boards click to one another over the subfloor, never into it, with no adhesive anywhere, and radiant heat is approved below. Dents are resisted by the rigid SPC core. Sound and underfoot comfort come from the HDPE underlayment that arrives bonded to the board. Abrasion and stains are met by the FX2 Surface Protectant. Waterproof construction, FloorScore and Assure Certified.

In use. Mid browns are the most forgiving colour to live with: they show neither dust nor footprints particularly. Being waterproof, the same board can carry on into a bathroom without changing material.
