Mango is a mid golden-brown with the widest board-to-board swing in the collection: some planks land pale, some land deep, and knots are left showing.

Works in. Large open floors, where the variation has room to read as pattern instead of noise. In a small bedroom it can look busy.

Chosen by. People who want a floor with movement in it, and installers who like a colour that forgives a mixed-batch delivery.

The install. Mango is floating — the planks lock to each other and rest on the subfloor without glue or nails, and radiant heat may be run underneath. The SPC core is rigid, which is where dent resistance comes from. HDPE underlayment is attached before the board ever leaves the factory, taking care of sound and comfort. FX2 Surface Protectant deals with abrasion and staining. Waterproof, and FloorScore and Assure Certified.

Before you order. Variation this wide is a feature, not a defect, and it is worth telling your installer to shuffle cartons rather than lay them in sequence. Waterproof construction means it can run continuously through a kitchen without a threshold.
