Regupol - TruBond 45-101 (4 Gallon) Rubber Flooring Adhesive

Regupol TruBond 45-101 (4 Gallon) is the high-performance adhesive of choice for gym owners and contractors installing heavy-duty athletic surfaces. This specialized rubber flooring glue provides an incredibly strong, permanent bond for rubber rolls and tiles on both concrete and wood subfloors.

It is best used in commercial fitness centers, weight rooms, or indoor sports zones where the flooring must withstand the extreme stress of dropped weights and high-intensity movement. REGUPOL TruBond 45-101 is a specialty adhesive designed exclusively for bonding REGUPOL Sonus® acoustic underlayments to subfloors in ceramic tile and stone floor systems. It is not a flooring adhesive and must never be used to install finished flooring products.

This universal, all-purpose adhesive delivers excellent moisture resistance, freeze-thaw stability, and superb bond strength, making it the ideal solution for residential and light-commercial sound-control installations beneath tile floors. 

TruBond 45-101 remains strong yet elastic, allowing REGUPOL Sonus underlayment to perform as a decoupling and sound-reduction layer while maintaining a tenacious permanent bond to the substrate.

Recommended Use

REGUPOL TruBond 45-101 is used only for:

• Bonding REGUPOL Sonus® acoustic underlayments
• To approved subfloors
• Prior to installing ceramic tile or stone

This adhesive does not install any finished floor and must not be used for rubber flooring, vinyl, wood, LVT, or sports flooring. 

Approved Substrates

• Concrete (minimum 28 days old)
• Cement terrazzo
• Exterior-grade plywood and approved wood subfloors
• Ceramic tile
• Cement-based self-levelers and patching compounds
• Primed gypsum underlayments meeting ASTM F2419
• Radiant-heated subfloors
