Description
Moana Driftwood is dark and weathered: a deep grey-brown with heavy surface texture and the most pronounced grain relief of anything in the range.
Where it suits. Rooms doing an industrial or reclaimed look, and floors that will take boots. The texture and the depth together mean very little shows on it.
Who chooses it. Owners of beach houses that get sandy, and anyone who wants dark without the flat, formal read of an espresso floor.
How it installs. Floating. The boards click to each other, the floor is not bonded to the subfloor in any way, no adhesive and no fasteners, and radiant heat is approved beneath it. Dents are resisted by the rigid SPC core. Sound is absorbed and the step softened by HDPE underlayment attached at manufacture. Abrasion and staining are held off by the FX2 Surface Protectant. Waterproof, FloorScore and Assure Certified.
Practically. Deep texture and a dark tone together mean this floor hides more day-to-day mess than anything else in the range. The same texture holds fine dust, so it prefers a vacuum to a broom.
