Sakura is a light warm blonde, soft-grained and low in contrast, named for the cherry blossom.

Rooms it flatters. Bedrooms and small apartments. Pale floors push walls outward visually, which is worth more in a 600 sq. ft. condo than in a house.

Who it is for. Buyers coming from carpet who do not want the room to feel colder afterwards.

Installed how. Floating, always: Sakura's planks lock to each other and float free of the subfloor, no glue and no nails, and radiant heat may run underneath. Dent resistance is the rigid SPC core's contribution. Sound absorption and comfort underfoot are the attached HDPE underlayment's. Abrasion resistance and stain repellency are the FX2 Surface Protectant's. Waterproof, FloorScore and Assure Certified.

Living with a pale floor. Light boards hide dust and hair better than dark ones and show dark scuffs more. The FX2 finish takes most marks off with a damp mop, and the floor is waterproof, so wet cleaning is not a risk to it.
