Tropical Maple is a light warm tan, a step deeper than Monarch Maple and softer in the grain, with gentle plank-to-plank movement.

Going down. Tropical Maple is a floating floor, meaning the boards fasten only to each other and never to the subfloor — no adhesive, no nails — and radiant heat underneath is approved. Its rigid SPC core resists dents. Its factory-attached HDPE underlayment absorbs sound and adds comfort. Its FX2 Surface Protectant resists abrasion and repels stains. Waterproof, FloorScore and Assure Certified.

Care. The Wood Tick embossing puts a shallow texture across the surface, which is what stops a light floor looking like plastic. It also means a damp mop does more than a dry one, since dust settles into the grain.
