Metroflor – Wailea – 200 Island Collection – Vinyl Plank Flooring

Wailea is a mid cool grey with real rustic movement — boards vary, the grain is coarse, and there is more texture in it than in the other greys here.

Fits. Big rooms and commercial-feel interiors, where the variation reads as character. Also good in entries, because a busy grey hides more than a plain one.

Bought by. Owners who want grey but find flat grey cold, and shops and studios fitting out a floor that has to take traffic.

Laying. A floating floor: boards lock plank to plank and rest on the subfloor, fixed to nothing, with no adhesive and no nails, and radiant heat is approved underneath. Rigid SPC core, hence the dent resistance. Attached HDPE underlayment, hence the sound absorption and comfort. FX2 Surface Protectant, hence the abrasion and stain resistance. Waterproof throughout, FloorScore and Assure Certified.

For heavy use. The rigid core resists denting under point loads, which is what shelving legs and equipment actually apply. Combined with the 15-year commercial warranty, this is the grey to pick for a shop floor.
